BEANS
The Beginning
Regenerative Agriculture Journey

The “Beans” phase represents the foundational stage of any agribusiness venture. This is where everything starts—the seed of an idea, vision, and the plans to transition to or establish a regenerative agriculture operation.
In this phase, Beans focuses on:
• Feasibility Study & Planning: Understanding the economic, environmental, and social aspects of the business. Developing business models, financial forecasting, and resource management plans that emphasize soil health, biodiversity, water management, and other regenerative practices.
• Regenerative Agriculture Practices: This includes guiding the adoption of regenerative practices such as crop rotation, agroforestry, permaculture, no-till farming, composting, and rotational grazing. These methods focus on restoring the land, increasing biodiversity, and reducing dependency on synthetic inputs.
• Initial Sourcing: Advising businesses on sourcing quality inputs like organic seeds, regenerative farming equipment, and sustainable supply chains. Ensuring that everything from the start is aligned with regenerative principles to avoid the pitfalls of traditional, unsustainable farming practices.
• Workshops & Training: Offering consultancy on regenerative practices, teaching agribusiness owners and farmers about soil health, carbon sequestration, sustainable water practices, and other key aspects of regeneration.
